Online shops are full of Nürburgring stickers for those who want to add five horsepower to their cars without any problems. Apart from all jokes, we have now learned why BMW usually interrupted the sale of cars with the official branding of the famous German route. Sylvia Neubauer, Vice President of Customers, Brand and Sales at BMW M, explained why the new M4 special edition for China is more of an exception.
In an interview with the running Auto Shanghai 2025, Sylvia said that all of this is concerned with licensing. It is a complicated and time -consuming process, which is a real challenge for BMW to secure the stamp of approval. It was not easy to bring the M4 edition Nürburgring into the ground because it took time to endure everyone and cross all TS. This pure China variant of the G82 has the circuit on the headrests embroidered in red.

The 53 Cars BMW M will produce for its Chinese customers. Why 53? So many years have passed since the M division was founded. BMW’s high -performance arm has been working with the Nürburgring for over 25 years. Prototypes are tested here practically all future models. Of course, it is also the venue for cars that only take part in various racing series.
Sylvia asked us not to keep our breath so that there are no options related to Nürburgring via the BMW individual program. We hope that one day customers have access to a model like the M4 Edition Nürburgring. Until then, while the Green Hell Branding supported by Fabrik remains exclusive, the aftermarket scene will only be inspired by this special edition in China.
If you live in China, the M4 Edition Nürburgring is based on the XDRIVE model competition. It has a rotacented renal grille that resembles that of the M4 CS. It is available in individual frozen deep green with black painted strips on the hood and the trunk. The inexpensive sports coupé for $ 150,000 offers a bonus of $ 19,000 compared to the standard car.
