Charged EVs | Curtiss-Wright introduces newest technology of its traction inverters for industrial EVs and hybrids

Sensor, management and subsystem firm Curtiss-Wright has launched the second technology of its traction inverters, that are designed for on-highway and off-highway industrial EVs and hybrids.

The brand new 420 kW traction inverter measures present and temperature immediately on the IGBTs, and is suitable with a spread of motors, together with AC induction, permanent-magnet synchronous and inside permanent-magnet designs.

“Having efficiently logged over two billion on-road kilometers since launching the primary manufacturing models, these second-generation CWTI fashions have been engineered to be the easiest performing and best IGBT inverters available on the market right now, utilizing state-of-the-art expertise to make sure finish customers obtain peak efficiency,” says Curtiss-Wright Industrial Division GM Jason Watkins.
