Evolito, a producer of electrical motors and controllers for aerospace purposes, has acquired the enterprise and belongings of Cheltenham, UK-based aerospace battery maker Electroflight. Electroflight will develop into a wholly-owned subsidiary of Evolito, and can deal with delivering next-generation battery know-how to enhance Evolito’s motors and controllers.
Evolito says its axial-flux motors and controllers are smaller, lighter and safer than competing electrical propulsion know-how. Electroflight has “a confirmed observe document of delivering safety-critical, revolutionary battery options for the electrification of the aerospace trade.”
Ajay Lukha, Chief Industrial Officer at Evolito, stated, “The mixed capabilities [of the two companies] will allow us to ship versatile options for our clients, from best-in-class motor and controller subsystems to fully-integrated electrical powertrains.”
