Japanese motor firm Nidec has introduced plans to construct an EV element plant within the Chinese language metropolis of Pinghu. Building is scheduled to start in October of 2022.
The EV-dedicated plant may have 109,600 sq. meters (1,180,000 sq. ft) of manufacturing space flooring area for producing and assembling gears, inverters and the corporateās E-Axle traction motor system. Manufacturing is to start in October of 2023, and the corporate says the plant may have an annual manufacturing capability of 1 million E-Axles by fiscal yr 2024.
Aiming at a ten trillion-yen (about $74 billion) gross sales objective for 2030, Nidec says it plans to develop a manufacturing capability of seven million E-Axles and to promote 3.6 million E-Axles by fiscal yr 2025.
