Samsung SDI has begun establishing its second battery manufacturing facility in Malaysia. The corporate says the plant, which is situated in Seremban, will start mass manufacturing of PRiMX 21700 cylindrical battery cells for energy instruments, micro-mobility functions and EVs in 2024.
