Vermont’s Company of Transportation has chosen the nonprofit Heart for Sustainable Power (CSE) to develop and administer a set of fresh transportation incentive packages for state residents.
Vermont is the seventh state to pick CSE to handle a clear transportation incentive program. CSE’s function encompasses program design, incentive administration, buyer help, supplier schooling and creating on-line platforms.
The brand new packages, approved by the 2021 Vermont Transportation Invoice (Act 55):
- The Incentive Program for New PEVs has a finances of $3 million. Launched in late 2019, this system presents incentives of $1,500 to $4,000 for the lease or buy of recent plug-in autos (greater quantities require low-income eligibility).
