XING Mobility, a Taipei-based electrical powertrain firm, has launched a brand new built-in battery system designed for heavy-duty EVs within the logistics, development, agriculture and mining markets. “We stay up for collaborating with our companions and clients to speed up the electrification transformation for all enterprise fleets,” says co-founder and CEO of XING Mobility Royce YC Hong.
The IMMERSIO XM25 has a battery pack with 21700 cells, a BMS, lively suppression of thermal runaway and an immersion cooling system which applies Castrol ON EV Thermal Fluid to cells. Based on XING Mobility, “Immersion cooling expertise is taken into account to be the best technique of battery cooling, as a consequence of its 100% cell-to-coolant contact, which delivers improved temperature uniformity and permits battery cells to succeed in their optimum efficiency ranges whereas remaining extraordinarily light-weight.”
The 1C/1.67C-rated IMMERSIO XM25 presents a cycle life of three,000, UN38.3 and ECE R100 certificates, and the potential to help as much as 800 V by string.
XING Mobility says the IMMERSIO XM25 can be utilized in a light-weight industrial EV made by an Asia-based automobile maker, which is predicted to start manufacturing in late 2022.
