TECO 2030, Shell and companions to obtain €5M in Horizon Europe help for two.4 MW gas cell system for tanker retrofit


TECO 2030 and its companions will obtain €5 million in funding from HORIZON EUROPE for the the hydrogen-powered tanker idea, HyEkoTank. The consortium expects to finalize the grant settlement course of by the tip of this yr, and plans challenge startup by 1 February 2023.

The HyEkoTank challenge will retrofit a 18,600 DWT product tanker with a 2.4 MW gas cell system by TECO 2030 and 4000 kg compressed hydrogen storage for demonstration in 2024.
