This week we took a lap in the revised Mercedes-Benz AMG C 63 E Performance 2024. The new sport sedan traded in the previous V-8 for a 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain that produces up to 671 horsepower, which is hard to love.

The battery-electric version of the upcoming facelifted BMW 5 Series was tested this week and the latest prototype spotted was an estate variant. Expected to be called the i5 Touring, the electric wagon should offer a choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and a range of more than 300 miles on a single charge.

We also spotted a prototype for the redesigned 2024 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT. The new sports car is closely related to the facelifted SL due for 2022, so it won’t have a convertible option this time.

Finally, Ford introduced a new version of its 7.3-liter V8 monster, known to fans as Godzilla. Nicknamed the Megazilla, the new version offers even more power and torque. The Megazilla is slated to join the Godzilla in Ford’s crate engine portfolio next year.
