Bentley is celebrating its success at the Australian Bathurst 12 Hour with not one, but two special editions, both of which are exclusive to Australia.
Designed by the automaker’s Mulliner personalization division and dealership Bentley Sydney, the two cars are based on the Continental GT S coupe that has just launched in Australia, but with styling cues inspired by the number 7 Continental GT3 racer , who finished first at Bathurst 2020 12 Hours.
The first car has an apple green exterior to match the race car’s paint color, with a Beluga (black) roof, wing mirrors and lower bumper and trunk liner. It also has the Blackline specification, which blackens the exterior chrome trim, and the Styling specification, which includes a carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts and a rear diffuser. Like the Continental GT3 that won Bathurst, the number 7 is painted on the radiator grille.

The interior of this car replicates the exterior color palette with black upholstery and green piping, contrast stitching and trim. “Bathurst” is sewn into the headrests, while “one of two” is written on the baseboards. A metal finish of the Mount Panorama track, which hosts the 12 Hours of Bathurst, is attached to a carbon fiber dashboard fascia, while the names of the winning drivers and the number 7 can be found on the center console.
The second car is painted Silver Tempest, referencing the introductory color of the second generation Continental GT3 when it was unveiled in 2017. This is the version of the racer that won the 2020 Bathurst 12 Hours. The second car is otherwise identical to the first. A 1:18 scale model of the winning car is included with each of them.
Both cars are based on the Continental GT S, which was launched in June 2022 as one of a growing number of S models aimed at bringing a sportier character to Bentley’s base V-8 models.
Bentley Continental GT S Bathurst Special Edition
Output from the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 remains unchanged at 542 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque, good for a factory estimated 0-62 mph time of 4.0 seconds, but S models get one too Sport exhaust system and the normally optional Bentley Dynamic Ride system to improve handling.
Special orders such as the Bathurst pair are becoming an increasingly large part of Bentley’s business. The automaker said its Mulliner division would complete 500 vehicles in 2022. Originally focused on one-offs and special requests, Mulliner’s milieu now includes limited editions such as the Bentley Batur coupe, as well as the Blower sequels.
