KIA PV5 Electric van arrives to challenge the VW Id.buzz

Kia will offer a first look at his new PV5, an electric medium -sized van, during a special one Kia EV Day Presentation in Tarragona, Spain, on February 24th.

While Kia has not yet published complete specifications, a PV5 concept that contained 2024 CES used a modified version of HE-GMP platform of the Yundai Motor Group. As with KIAS EV3 Electric subcompact crossover, it contained a less expensive single engine and 400-volt configuration instead of the 800 volt setup with two engine that can be found in the EV6 and EV9.

The PV5 concept has about 183 inches with a wheelbase of almost 118 inches. The production version is expected to be similar in size. For comparison, the US SPEC Volkswagen Id.buzz, a likely PV5 rival, measures a 127.5-inch wheel stand of 195.3 inches long. For buyers who need even more space, Kia also presented that PV7 concept at CESA larger electrical van with a length of over 207 inches.
