Mate Rimacs BMW M3 E30 Sport Evolution is a stunner

It wasn’t long ago when we talked about Mate Rimacs M5 E39. However, his only true love is this exquisite E30. He bought the car from Belgium when it was financially stable. As you can say, it is not an ordinary iteration of the original M3. We are dealing with the exceptionally rare sports development, also known as EVO III.

The sports development, which was launched in 1990, was the strongest M3 E30 thanks to an enlarged 2.5-liter S14 engine, which produced 238 hp. BMW made only 600 units from December 1989 to March 1990. The founder of the Rimac is part of an exclusive club by having what many consider as the most desirable E30.

The sports sedan is a true time capsule that looks practically unchanged about 35 years after leaving the assembly line. Rimac has the M3 Sport Evolution in Jet Black with red pinstripes, but BMW also sold the car in Brillant Red with black pinstripes. Compared to other iterations of the M3 E30, the EVO III had thinner windows to shave the weight. There were also brake culy channels instead of fog seals, while the bumpers and the trunk were also brightened.

Funny fact: Most amenities were deleted to reduce weight, but customers could add them again. The treats included a sunroof, air conditioning, the electric windows, the handle handles, a map lights and a trip computer. In the M3 Sport Evolution, M -cross seats were crossed by default, but buyers opted for these black Recaro seats at additional costs, which were wrapped in leather.

We can all agree that the man certainly has a good taste in cars. As a memory, Mate Rimac works directly with BMW nowadays. The companies based in Zagreb and Munich completed a deal for a long -term partnership with battery technology for electric vehicles a year ago.
