I’ve done a lot since the last post, so I’ll start with it.
The bonnet was freed from the heavy primer and the 3 other layers of paint with stripes on the angle loop to mere metal (below) and then directed with a wheel socket (above).
The rear end was put together again with new seals and seals. When buying new seals, I found that it was 8 “not 9”, as originally assumed.
The disc brakes delivered with the rear end were screwed on. There was no hardware that I found in my left stock of nuts, bolts and hardware.
There were no instructions, so I went online with the part number, which was stamped in the bracket, and found that it was a summit racing rear brake kit for 8 or 9-inch forecasts.
The car is lowered and discussed with myself to go 2 O3 inches and decided to start at 3. “
With the 3 “rectangular tube and a 1/8” plate, I welded the sinking blocks with a hole in the spring side and a pen on the back side.
I had 4 long remaining U -Bolzen from an earlier project in which pearl was blown up, then everything was painted.
In the following you will find the BORGESON service kit from CJ Pony parts, which contains a new power steering box, pump, hoses and hardware.
The Power Front -Disc brake of CJ Pony Parts contains disc brakes, brake brakes brakes, master cylinder, new brake lines, hardware and new pedal.
The old steering box was removed and the new Borgeson box was used, then the steering link was reinstalled.
The steering column had to be removed, then shortened and the frame for the new box.
After the steering column has been removed, I deported the dashboard and painted the areas that are not covered with panels or measuring devices. The clutch and brake pedals had to be removed again because the old brake pedal had the wrong peak and had to be changed to the new pedal, which was delivered with the kit.
The new Power booster has been set up.
The new brake brake amplifier had to be changed the firewall with larger holes for the booster rod, the trunk and the bolts. The old valve with drum/drum proportions must be ordered and changed to a herniated disc/disc valve, and braking lines changed.
New Power -Disc brake pedal and column have reinstalled this Required the clutch/brake pedal to change.
.
While I was under the dashboard, the heating and interface were installed.
The painless cable kit that was delivered by car was created and installed by the dashboard, the engine compartment and the rear of the car.
New ball connections and sockets were ordered, then the upper and lower arms, struts, spindles and steering connections were reinstalled.
The coils delivered by car did not exceed the upper fastening holes, which then had to be redesigned.
The front suspension is now complete, including the Sway -Bar. Now I have to find out how I can set up and adapt the orientation.
After all of this, the new disc brakes were installed with the new rotors, brake calipers, wheel bearings and wheel seals.
