McLaren 650S rating at McLaren Knutsford – The Car Spotter Blog

In March of this year I went on a trip to Knutsford McLaren’s garage in Cheshire. The showroom was opened in April 2012.

I was hoping to hit luck and see a McLaren P1, but I wasn’t lucky.

The interior exhibition space is relatively small and has no production cars. However, they did not have one, but three McLaren 650 coupes in stock in the back of the exhibition space. The McLaren is called 650s due to the power of 650 hp (641 hp).

The colors of the three McLaren 650 were orange, white and dark blue. My preferred color of the three was the orange McLaren.

The 650s are over the McLaren MP4-12C in the McLaren area and are certainly a striking car. The car retains a body shape similar to the MP4-12C with the same hood, the same license plate area, the mirrors and the cabin. The subtle changes include the body kit, the P1-inspired headlights, the side indicators and a large side air absorption instead of a shared unit found on the MP4-12C.

The power is from MP4-12C of 617 hp and 641 hp. This means that the 650s perform the sprint of 0-60 miles per hour in 3.0 seconds in contrast to 3.2 seconds, which are delivered by the MP4-12C. The time from 0 to 100 miles per hour drops from 6.2 seconds through the MP4-12C to 5.7 seconds. The 650s cost around £ 20,000 more than the MP4-12 ° C at 195,000 GBP.

The 650s are a direct rival of the Ferrari 458, which is also available in coupé and spider shape and the Lamborghini Huracan. including supercars.

The optional extras include carbon fiber seats that costs 5,000 pounds and reduce the weight of the already slight 1300 kg car by another 15 kg.
