2025 BMW M235 Gran Coupé dresses red in the fire

With quad exhaust tips and an apparent M2 logo, it could look as if BMW had made a four-door limousine version of his sports coupé. Despite the striking appearance of the M235, this is still a 2-series grane coupé on a platform with the front frame. In its second generation, the Bayern baby sedan is better positioned to win the sale from the Audi S3 and Mercedes-AMG CLA.

New pictures from Slovakia show the “F74” in the range-top M235-gran coupé taste. Typical for a press car has many additional treats. These vary from an optional fire-red color to the larger 19-inch 20-m flatterers. The brake calipers usually come either red or blue, but this car has the optional M composite brakes with gray brake calipers.

The Shadowline treatment also costs additional and black the kidney grille, the exhaust and the rear spoiler. Inside, BMW fade the new M235 -Gran coupé with the optional sitting with greater lateral support. The improved front seats also have an illuminated M logo that reflects the Big Boy cars.

Since this is a European version of the M235, it uses an impolished B48. The 2.0-liter petrol engine from Turboch has only 296 hp on the old continent. In other regions, the unrestricted four -cylinder mill delivers 312 hp. You don’t lose a torque on the old continent, on which you receive 400 Nm (400 Nm) like the rest of the world.

With the second generation, the 2-series gran coupé also receives a long-wheel version (F78), including an M235L. However, BMW only sells it in China, where it produces the extended compact sedan for the local market. The 3 and 5 Series sedans as well as the X1, X3 and X5 Suvs also have LWB variants in China.

If something is missing in the 2 Series Gran Coupé line -up, then the electrification is. BMW has again decided against plug-in hybrid and EV derivatives. Some of the combustion engines have a 48 V mild hybrid technology.
