If you find the design of the new IX3 a little too soft, this rendering should change your opinion. It offers a much more aggressive interpretation of the fresh design language of BMW to define all NEE class models. Over 40 of these vehicles are expected to be debut in a quick succession by the end of 2027, each with the new styling information. You can imagine almost tuners who are already rubbing their hands in the expectation of the upcoming wave of cars.
BMW has already given us an insight into a more common IX3 in a few M parts of performance. But before the rumored versions M60 and Full M arrive, an independent artist appeared the visual drama. The lively color paired with yellow daytime running lights provides a strong statement, while the exhibited fenders emphasize the new muscular attitude of the SUV.
This imaginary IX3 sits deeper on the ground with a sporty suspension and aftermarket wheels. Exposed carbon fiber boards give a striking contrast against the lively yellow body, and even the bonnet remains unpainted to present the carbon tissue. In the rear, a much larger roof spoiler contributes to the aggressive look.

The artist doubled from BMW’s own Playbook on the black accents via the M Sportpacket Pro. While some call it too wild for production, it is easy to imagine Mansory that dreams of something similar. Wild Body kits could remain rare for the crossover, but expect tuners to have a field day on which the i3 sedan arrives next year.
It will be fascinating to see how this new design language claims with the creativity of Aftermarket. New class builds on reduction and simplicity, exactly the opposite of what tuners normally pursue. There is a fine line between the two approaches, and hopefully neither BMW nor the tuning world will cross it. On the other hand, there will always be demand for unusual bodies.
