BMW prioritizes Europe for the market launch of the second generation IX3. Customer deliveries are scheduled to start on the old continent in March 2026. If you are in the USA, you have to wait until summer. To ensure that as many people as possible can experience the electrical intersection before it is published, the rollout of the vehicle moves quickly.
The world tour began shortly after the IX3 celebrated its public debut at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich about a month ago. BMW has already shown the hotly expected EV in New York, and now the “Na5” has returned to Europe. The latest station was in Bulgaria, not far from production. As a reminder that the brand new electric crossover will enter series production at the Debrecen plant in Hungary at the end of October.
Again, BMW emphasizes the Ocean Wave Blue -Finish, which is paired with the M Sport Package Pro. The 22-inch wheels with M-Branded are available at the start, but buyers can also select a single aerodynamic set of the same size. While interior photos have not been published, the improved M seats with illuminated badges are visible. There was a time when the Light-up M logo was only reserved for real M-cars, but no longer.

Although the adaptation options are extensive, the new IX3 starts with a single drive train configuration. Regardless of the market, it is initially only offered as a 50 XDrive. The list will be expanded later at both ends. We have received a confirmation of more affordable 40 XDRIVE and 40 SDRIVE versions. There are also reports on high-performance M variants.
BMW has confirmed that additional features are planned, including individual colors, ventilated front seats, green upholstery and heated rear seats. M-output parts were already built up in a preview of the excitement for the IX3 M60 and a full M-model.
A lot is going on the IX3 and on follow -up models such as next year. BMW has invested more than 10 billion euros in the new class program, although innovations such as Idrive X and Panoramic Vision will also occur in internal increment. With this massive investment in recent years, Munich has strived to harvest the rewards of its greatest project of all time.
Here everything begins with the IX3.
