Car Paparazzi started the BMW 7 series -facelift for the first time in July 2024, but the pictures were not great. New and better photos of the updated “G70” give us a more precise idea of what we can expect from Bavaria’s Luxobarge. Although this prototype is camouflaged in the camouflage, significant changes are planned.
A large design change – no more split headlights

The disgusting radiator grille of the current car seems to be outside on the way. However, don’t be too excited. The 7 Series -LCI prototype has a fresh kidney set with horizontal slats in the lower section. Unfortunately, the radiator grille does not necessarily seem to be smaller, but the outline is new and enables a flattering look. We hope that a new class styling will rub off in BMW’s flagship car.

We are fans of the next generation and the i3 sedans, but these are completely new cars. The 7-series will only undergo an update with a medium cycle, so that the designers do not have as much freedom as the couple of 3 models. If the car manufacturers hold an existing car, they usually stand much more restrictions than with a next generation model. We have to wait even more for the 7er to return to a more sensible radiator grille.
It is unlikely that the LCI will drive changes to the profile. However, look for new bike designs and fresh body colors. Temporary rear lights are peeking through the camo. The chances are good that the taillights extend to the original lid, but the cladding blocks the view. One of the prototypes has excerpts in the lower part of the bumper, which indicates a visible quad emissions system. It tells us that we deal with the M760E. BMW has decided to only show exhaust gas tips for M performance and M cars. You can only dream of an M7 …
New class iDrive X is coming

The 7 Series test vehicles were caught in motion so that there was no opportunity to capture the interior. However, the G70 LCI is almost confirmed that you undergo a cabin overhaul. BMW is handed over to its crown jewel in Idrive X. So prepare for a completely new dashboard. Sitting in front and in the middle will be a large touchscreen that has a stately distrust of 17.9 inches.
It is accompanied by the panorama vision, a marketing term for a pillar-to-pool projection at the base of the windshield. Three solid tiles on the driver’s side serve as digital instrument clusters. The remaining six sections that are mounted on the right are customizable. According to reports, the 5 -series Facelift will receive an optional passenger screen, and it would also make sense that BMW fits it into the 7 -series series. Can’t have enough screens these days …
