One of the best reasons to keep an old car on the street is the unique factor. Everyone can enter almost anywhere in any BMW dealer and a 3 series that is more or less identical to any other new M3 on the street today. But keeping an older car alive – or even better, if you bring you back from the edge – is often a more appealing view for enthusiasts. A certain E36 car that I can present is the proof you need.
This story of this E36 Touring

This 328i tour – VIN EV09078 – Left in the factory on November 30th on November 30thTH1996. First delivery occurred on December 3RD1996, at Autohaus Burer-Hubach in Weißwasser, Oberlausz, Germany. It came from the factory in a typical “enthusiast spec:” Techno Violet Metallic paint with black leather/fabric padding, no sliding roof, a switching gear and the M sports package. The original owner used the car as intended. As a result, the vehicle saw the full power of the elements that suffer severe rust. But 25 years later it took a new life. It was sent to its new owner in the USA, Sean (President of Precision Sport Industries) in 2022. It was a bit more time while his new steward collected parts to bring his restoration vision to life.
E36 Touring restoration, modifications and improvements

But this E36 tour is more than just a restoration. Sean searched high -quality OEM spare parts as required. In some cases you cannot replace the originals so that you can see components such as an M -Tech -II -steering wheel, original black plastic and rubber outer cladding as well as OEM windshield and rear glass glass. A glass-out reserve in the original techno-violet of the car, an individual interior with “Vader” seats from an M3, and an anthracite alcantara headliner brings a little OEM+ look that is only the tip of the iceberg.

No build is complete without a little aftermarket spice. Sean Aftermarket components put together so that the E36 tour reliably promises to be the ultimate driving machine. A set of 17-inch BBS E87 wheels, drilled brake rotors, movement threads, SPL-rear crash arms and the complete catalog of Powerflex suspension sockets found their way onto the car. A handful of other small details -such as French fog lights, reinforced and powder -coated underground frames and improved Bosch -Glass headlights -as one of the most comprehensive E36 -tour refreshments that we have ever seen on.

It is easy to see that another E36 touring will stay with us for a while – not less. Especially one that can be thrown away and crushed just as easily. Enjoy reading our gallery, which is undoubtedly a rolling piece E36 art.
