Last year we saw a variety of BMWS at the 2024 Legends of the Autobahn, which extended BMW history for over half a century. In this regard, the legends of the 2025 motorway were almost identical. But the cars themselves were completely unique; Potential to show even greater variety. As a reminder: Legends of the Autobahn is one of several events that run at the same time as the Monterey Car Week. It is referred to as the “Premier All-German Marque Concours” and only has vehicles that come from German car manufacturers. Real year
Car Week is all about the vintage vehicles, and Legends of the Autobahn celebrates similarly. Here we see a BMW 2800, part of the “Neue Six” exposure. The 2800 was designed with the E3 chassis code with a larger ALE -CONDALTERATIVE and was located directly over the 2500 models. These were back in the days when the badge on the back correlated directly with the motor size. Together with a larger 2.8-liter engine and an additional 20 hp, the 2800 also received a sportier suspension, larger tires and additional amenities. In 1971 a more powerful 3.0-liter engine with two carbohydrates. Coupé equivalents received the CS nomenclature, and there the 3.0 CS (and CSL) come into play. Typical legends of the highway.
Legends of the Autobahn is practically present for owners of the series with 02 series. From extremely tailor -made jobs to bone stock examples directly from the 1960s and 1970s, there was something for every taste. The 2002 is the preferred taste of the 02 series, which now and in the period for its cheeky drive strands, a small footprint and belief or non-efficiency loved it and no believe it or not. To quote one of the colorful writers of journalism, David E. Davis Jr.: “In my way of thinking, this is one of the best opportunities for modern civilization in 2002.”
Alpina heaven
As I said, a little bit of everything always appears on legends on the highway. Here we see two Alpina E36 3 Series, an Alpina B6 2.8 based on E21, which wears light orange color, and of course a delightful selection of other Alpina BMWs from E30 to the last generation Alpina B7. Although Alpina now belongs entirely from BMW, she began to live as a tuner shop, sue and run BMWs. When Alpina dragged on from racing in 1988, the development of street cars became a joint effort. Today Alpina vehicles are designed with the miles taken into account from Autobahn. Basically take a standard BMW and let it run as soon as possible as soon as possible.
Light … wait, what?
Don’t try to adapt your TV. That is actually five BMW E36 M3 slightly on your screen, each more identical than the last. But of course they are – the most collectable E36 modify always Would be a fool. The M3 Lightweight (abbreviated as LTW) was a limited version of the E36 M3, which only came to the USA. Only 126 were made, and all came in alpine white with black fabric seats and carbon fiber cladding. During the M3 LTW with the US S50-240 PS-it is at least low compared to the regular E36s. Here “lightweight” led to a 280 pound diet more than enough so that even half-conscious drivers feel.
