While we wait for the 7 Series facelift next year, it’s business as usual at BMW. The G70 is getting another regionally limited special edition, this time exclusively for the Middle East. It is based on a solid foundation, the 760i, currently the only version of this generation with a V8 drive. (Side note: This will change as soon as ALPINA brings back the 7 Series with eight-cylinder power.)
Just as the 7 Series itself is the star of the Munich model range, the Suhail Edition takes its name from a star in the constellation Argo Navis. According to BMW, Suhail symbolizes “leadership and brilliance that are deeply rooted in Arab heritage.” What sets this 7 Series apart from a typical full-size luxury sedan is its two-tone interior and exterior.
The 760i has a sophisticated individual finish that combines oxide gray metallic with midnight blue metallic. You will also notice the Suhail constellation motif on the rear pillars, front headrests, dashboard and even the rear cushions. Inside, the seats are covered in Individual Taupe Grey/Midnight Blue leather, complemented by high-gloss oak paneling and gray metallic high-gloss accents.

As you would expect from a special edition of BMW’s flagship, the 7 Series Suhail Edition is full of luxury. Highlights include an illuminated kidney grille, daytime running lights with crystal effect and the Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof with integrated LED light threads. Rear passengers have access to an entertainment system with a 31.3-inch screen that folds down from the ceiling.
The 760i also includes the Executive Lounge package with adjustable rear seats and legrests. It is packed with all the bells and whistles and also features the distinctive individual details. All that’s missing is a V12, but the ship has been underway for a long time. For a twelve-cylinder experience, BMW would be happy to recommend a Rolls-Royce.
The Suhail Edition will probably be one of the last 7 Series models to carry the “i” suffix. From the Life Cycle Impulse in 2026, BMW wants to delete the letter from all petrol-powered versions. In the future, only fully electric models will carry the “i” logo. It’s a transition that began last year with the X3 (G45) and continued soon after with the 1 Series (F70) and 2 Series Gran Coupe (F74).
