BMW Designworks reveals “loading trees” in the BMW world

The rollout of the IX3 was the perfect opportunity for BMW Welt to end its facilities for BMW, mini and rolls-royce drivers. These so-called “loading trees” are a common effort at the design works subsidiary in order to make the charging experience more stylish. The high-performance loading park is now in operation and has eight ultra-fast charging stations to charge the electrified cars of the BMW group.

You drive along “The Catwalk” (Yes, that calls BMW it) Access to the slim charging stations. Everyone has a bank that can rest the drivers and enjoy the colorful flowers. The sheet used for the benches and charging stations has the same coating as the facade of BMW World to ensure that the additions fit seamlessly into the existing landscape. Elsewhere, BMW used natural stone from the nearby Isar River. The street is made of concrete and terrazzo.

In winter you will not pour a BMW world employee on the catwalk onto the catwalk to get rid of ice cream. Why? The heat generated during the EVS load is channeled underground, which prevents snow conditions. The maximum loading force is not specified, but BMW confirms that “high -performance charge in just 15 minutes” is supported. You can either use a credit card or your smartphone via NFC to pay.

Of course, design works presents its latest work by highlighting the most important EV of the brand ever. BMW brought the IX3 “Na5” into the area of silver and sea wave with the new facilities in the world. The second generation electrical SUV is the fastest EV to the group so far and, thanks to an 800 V architecture, supports a top loader rate of 400 kW.

In contrast to any other electrical BMW before, the IX3 has cylindrical battery cells. These offer a 20% higher energy density and 30% faster charging speeds than EVS with prismatic cells. The 108.7 kWh package delivers as part of the WLTP cycle or 400 miles based on the test procedure of the EPA 500 miles (805 kilometers). In the United States, the 50 XDRIVE model is connected to “40” versions with a smaller battery starting in early 2027 or possibly earlier in Europe.

If you have not yet been bitten by the SUV error, the i3 sedan will come next year. Additional body styles in this segment are expected shortly, including an i3 tour and possibly a two-door i4 in coupé and convertible formats. There are also rumors about a potential IX4 crossover coupe. All of these models are part of the reborn new class -Lineup from BMW, which is not limited to EVS. Future combustion engine cars and plug-in hybrids will also be viewed as members of the NK portfolio. Why? You will share the fresh design language and in-car technology with iDrive X.
