BMW IX3 Long wheelbase before 2026 Start annoyed

42. As many cars, the BMW group now presents in Auto Shanghai in China. Among them is the vision of new class X, a concept that progresses the second generation IX3, which is carried out at the beginning of September. BMW is preparing a stretched version for the Chinese market. While CEO Oliver Zipse was on stage and outlined the ambitions of the brand in China, a design sketch of the IX3L appeared in the background.

This electrical SUV with a long wheel, which bears the internal code name “Na6”, is built on site and sold. The standard -ix3, which is referred to internally as “NA5”, will be compiled in the new work of BMW in Debrecen, Hungary from this year. From 2027, production will also be expanded to the San Luis Potosi factory in Mexico.

BMW is not yet ready to share details, but we already have a decent idea of what awaits us. In a recently published report, the Standard-IX3 is set at 4,780 millimeters (74.6 inches) wide and 1,635 mm (64.3 inches) with a cycle path of 2,895 mm (1.635 mm). Of course, the Chinese LWB variant extends a little more between the axes to unlock additional legroom in the rear.

The load capacity should be similar to the standard -ix3 and offer 520 liters (18.3 cubic feet) with the rear seats and extend to 1,750 liters (61.8 CU FT) when rattling. This is that the numbers that have appeared are completely legitimate. As with other LWB-BMWs built for China, you expect the IX3L to lean into the rear seat comfort compared to its global counterpart compared to more premium materials and equipment. We recently created the changes between the two ice Suvs. The brand based in Munich also sells elongated versions of the X1 and X5 in China.

The word is that BMW offers the IX3L in 30L, 40L XDRIVE, 50L XDRIVE and M60L-XDRIVE. Nothing is still official, but production should begin in about a year. As with the other NEE class models that come to China, the IX3L receive a localized version of the IDRIVE X.
