BMW Greece put on quite a show this year at the M Festival at the Megara circuit near Athens. With the exception of the M3 Touring, almost all M models were represented. The SUVs were also missing, but these are rarely seen at such official events, and that makes sense. It is unlikely that owners of an X5 M or
There should be something for everyone in the attached mega gallery. From a young age (well, not really) From the M2 to the mighty M5 Touring, almost all M-Core models were represented. We also spotted the M4 CS and even an M4 Cabriolet, as well as an M5 sedan disguised as a safety car. BMW Greece even snuck in an M235 Gran Coupé to play with the big boys.
If we had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be the M2 in Fire/Vegas Red with silver rims. As is often the case at BMW-sponsored events, many of the vehicles were painted in special colors from the Individual catalog. The gold-bronze wheels must also have been a feast for the eyes of the assembled audience.

These M Festival events take place annually in multiple locations around the world to showcase the breadth of the BMW M range. The “World’s Strongest Letter” continues to thrive and 2024 marks its 13th consecutive year of growth. Sales rose 2.1% to 206,582 units, and 2025 is shaping up to be another record year, with an increase of 7.9% through September.
Of course, it helps that M Performance models are counted alongside real M cars. In fact, BMW sells far more non-M vehicles than full-fat M models. In 2024 there were only 66,805 real examples, while 139,777 were M-Lite versions. For the third year in a row, the i4 M50 remained BMW’s best-selling M-badged product.
And there’s more to come. The New Class era will bring both M Performance and full-fledged M EVs, further expanding the range. Not that we’re complaining. Variety is the spice of life or, as BMW likes to say, the “power of choice”.
