BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 leads to Concorso d’Elanza Villa d’Este

Since the M4 -CS apparently didn’t feel particularly enough, BMW made an exclusive version. The VR46, which was announced for the first time in February, will be exhibited this weekend in Concorso d’Elanza Villa d’Este. To celebrate the 46th birthday of nine times motorcycle master Valentino Rossi, BMW will not only present one but two versions of this limited coupé.

BMW shows the M4 CS Edition VR46 at Lake Como in Italy both in style and in sporting aromas. Everyone is limited to (Yes, you guessed it)46 units. The style version combines Marina Bay Blue Paint with tanzanite blue graphics and bright yellow accents. The sports version is enough for a matt finish and combines frozen tanzanite blue with a “46” logo in frozen Marina Bay Blue. Regardless of the version, both have a standard carbon fiber roof storage of Rossis Signature and its iconic “46” graphic.

BMW did not follow the usual production process for the M4 CS Edition VR46. While the cars were gathered in Dingolfing like other G82, BMW painted the hood, the roof and the bumper in his landshut facility. There, only four paint experts used the individual surfaces – a process in which 20 hours per car lasted.

All 92 units have been completed and are now sending to customers. The intended for the United States for $ 155,000 per pop. This exorbitant price is even over the 139,900 US dollar M4 CSL. However, it is still far behind the rumored price of 750,000 US dollars of the 3.0 CSL. Officially, the M4 CS Edition VR46 is the most expensive M4 bathroom model that BMW has ever done. Despite no mechanical upgrades, it has a bonus of $ 31,500 compared to the standard -M4 -cs donor car.

Each of the 92 owners has the opportunity to meet “the doctor” on the VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia. BMW also invites you to drive various M models on the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, so that customers receive more than just a tailor-made M4-CS.
