BMW takes you to an extended video tour through the new IX3

Before BMW begins with the delivery of the new IX3, he would like to make sure that potential buyers are well informed. In a time when the Tiktok This Walkaround video has refreshingly refreshing the trend for the attention duration. The luxury brand has a lot of time for almost 20 minutes to dissect the electric SUV.

Oliver Heilmer, formerly head of the Mini design team, is now monitoring compact and medium -sized BMW and M models. Of course, he leads the audience through the next generation IX3 and underlines the fresh design that is initiated by the new class. The vehicle presented is in Ocean Wave Blue, equipped with the M sports package, and drives on individual 22-inch aerodynamic wheels.

A subtle but remarkable detail is the slightly updated badge. The slimmer round not only appears on the bonnet and tailgate, but also on the alloys and the steering wheel. This discreetly updated logo will be installed on future BMWs, whether electrically or not. In an exclusive interview with BMWblogHeilmer explained the thinking behind the redesign:

“We wanted to keep the inheritance, but bring more precision into the logo. The chrome is still there, the letters were refined with a shiny pattern that they often find in watches, and the white surfaces are now closer to the outer ring. It is flat, but if you touch it, you can still feel the combs.”

Of course, no Walkaround would be complete without the interior being looked at more closely. BMW again presents digital white upholstery with a suitable steering wheel. However, the quirky wheel is not yet offered in white. The European configurator is only added to the European configurator in January 2026. Buyers can also pay additional for a new M steering wheel with a more conventional design.

Elsewhere, the official film material emphasizes details such as the M pedals, which IX3S are reserved with the M Sport package. Other premium touch are the panorama sliding roof that can be ordered with a sun blind. While the large central display and the panoramic view are standard, the 3D head-up display is optional.

The video also shows that BMW with the IX3 has not yet gone fully in touchscreen. Some physical buttons survived the switching covering, although the IDR rotary button was dropped. The climate renewal is now fully integrated into the 17.9-inch touchscreen to adapt the air flow direction. What time to be alive, right?

The IX3 meets Europe next spring, followed by a US start in summer. First of all, it is only offered as a 50 XDrive, whereby the cheaper 40 XDRIVE and 40 SDRIVE variants have to follow shortly afterwards.
