BMW will be very busy in the next few years. The company’s CEO, Oliver Zipse, announced today that over 40 cars will come onto the market by the end of 2027. This seems to be a considerable number even for the largest luxury car manufacturer in the world. However, Munich’s Head Honcho included models of the next generation and facelifts for current cars.
Logic informs us that the 61-year-old manager also counted derivatives such as M performance and M cars. Zipse mentioned that BMW intends to publish vehicles with all types of drive trains, from gasoline and diesel engines to plug-in hybrids and completely electrical models. Interestingly, everyone will “have the DNA of the new class”.

BMWS Top -Messing probably referred to the new design language that we saw on the two visions class concepts. The duo of limousines and crossover duo also presented a revised interior with the 14.9-inch IDRIVE X-central screen and the panoramic view projection, but unfortunately not a Rotary dial. The pure EVs will also contain the gene6 cylindrical batteries and the new, lighter electric motors that we recently disassembled.
Ok, what exactly will we see between now and at the end of 2027? The IX3 Prime Minister of the second generation in autumn in autumn, which made their debut at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich in early September. His limousine colleague, the i3, will follow in 2026. Spy shots have shown that a new 3 series with burning engines is worked with an inline-six M3. Car Paparazzi also tested BMW a life cycle impulse for the 5 Series (including M5) and 7 Series.
But there are also some new entries in the already large line -up that we should see in this interval. BMW is said to be launching an i3 Touring (“Na1”) and an IX4 (Na7 “). Together with the IX3 and i3, it is rumored that all four M performance and M variants are preserved. Zipse probably took into account regional models, especially those for the Chinese market. We have heard that BMW will build and sell a Langrad-X3. A stretched i3 sedan would make more sense.
Of course, BMW probably has a few aces their sleeves, of which we just don’t know anything.
