For example, every BMW model sold in Q3 2025 in the USA

It is always nice to see that BMW USA the sale for every model it offers is reducing sales. It gives us a clear look at what sells and what is not during a certain time. Overall, the third quarter of 2025 was strong for business, and the total deliveries rose by 24% to 96,886 units. A closer look shows a three -digit growth for two models: the 5 and the X2.

The “G60” rose by massive 202.2%and reached 7,578 units in the July September interval. The success of the M5 sedan (G90) and the M5 touring (G99) probably played a major role, especially since BMW admitted that the car had not expected that the car was so popular.

The X2 also had an excellent third quarter, whereby the programs rose by 163.9% to 1,863 cars. It even exceeded the model that is supposed to replace the X4. In fact, figures show from year to time that the two crossover coupes match almost evenly. Logic suggests that the newer model will end the coming year. With the X4, which soon goes out of production, the X2 will serve as an indirect successor. It is worth noting that BMW does not sell the full electrical IX2 in the USA, so that all sales come from the gasoline version.

Although the Internet was not exactly friendly for the X3, BMW’s turnover rose by 37% to 20,980 units in the third quarter. However, the numbers from year to time are almost flat and only increase by 0.2%. Some expected the demand to drop to the latest generation, but that was not the case.

In front of a facelift that is due next year, the 7 Series continues to attract buyers. The flagship rose by 59.5% in the third quarter to 2,824 cars and rose by 23.5% compared to the previous year and reached 8,531 units.

The XM remains the worst product of BMW in the USA as soon as you have excluded Surprise Single i3 and 6 series GT sales in the past three months. Elsewhere, the 8er continues its decline before production in 2026. The Z4 will also be exchanged next year, but the Roadster holds only 1.3% decline in the third quarter and remains 9% by September.

The IX achieved great success and fell by 33%in the third quarter. The large electric SUV had no great year overall, with demand declining by 11.6%. As already reported, BMW will not renew the polarizing EV for a second generation. Instead, the IX5 will indirectly take up in the line -up in addition to a larger IX7.

As with every sales table, there are winners and losers. Overall, BMW USA is fine in 2025, and overall sales rose by 8.5% to 275,385 units by 8.5% in the first nine months of the year.
