Look up the BMW M3 CS Touring on the Goodwood Hill.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a versatile event because it brings together a variety of cars from all epochs. The Hardcore -M3 tour from BMW is the Super -Wagon -Niche this year. It is the first time that M applied the competitive sports badge to a long roof car. Hopefully it won’t be the last one; We keep our fingers crossed so that an M5 -CS tour follows.

For this year’s festival, BMW brought the M3 CS with a striking appearance. The sports car combines a matt frozen, massive white painting with matt golden bronze wheels. As if that weren’t brave, the roof and side mirror caps have been completed in shiny black, while the impressions of the hood have exposed carbon fiber exposed. Add the CS-specific red accents, and to be honest, there is a lot to see.

As a forbidden fruit in North America, the M3 CS touring does not sound as aggressive as we would have expected. This may not be too surprising, since the emission regulations themselves are increasingly voting even large shifting engines. There is still a 3.0-liter twin turbo inline-Six that apply the Hardcore “G81”, but a little more audio drama would not hurt. As usual, the tuners will endeavor to persuade more decibels from the “S58” engine.

Without X3 m successor on the horizon, some buyers could rethink the M3 tours. We would certainly do that. Even if BMW is launching another high-performance crossover, we would still choose the car. Maybe not in this color scheme. We would like to prefer one of the other available colors: Sapphire Black, Laguna Seca Blue or British Racing Green. These staggered bikes are also offered in matt black for a more reserved look.

BMW has not confirmed the production numbers, but it is assumed that the M3 -CS touring will be built for about 12 months. The last example is to roll out the assembly line in Munich in February 2026. Around 1,800 to 2,000 units are carried out during this time. In Japan, also a right market, such as in the UK, only 30 cars are provided.

Funny fact: Japan and Great Britain were two of the three countries that convinced BMW from building an M3 tour with the right hand. The third was Australia.
