It was 15 years since Mini introduced the scooter e-concept and marked its first preliminary step into the two-wheeler world. Now a spiritual successor has emerged; This time it is more grounded in reality. Based on the BMW CE 02, the new unique project shows what mini-design can do when it connects its quirky charm with the electrical know-how of BMW Motorcycle.
This mini taste is fixed with the same hardware as the CE 02 and is scattered the funny factor with a brave design and additional personality. While it is still just a concept for the time being, a limited special edition with mini branding, which is directed with style-conscious urban drivers, would not be far-fetched. That means it is only wishful thinking at this time.

As some of them will remember, the BMW does not officially call the CE 02 a scooter or a motorcycle. Instead, it is an “Eparkourer”. Since the basic model is 15-year-old, it may be interested in future drivers who are interested in the mini lifestyle before they even exist. Mind you, this version is limited to 5 hp and a top speed of 45 km/h. The uncond model has 15 hp and 95 km/h.
If Mini starts its own version, we see no reason why it should cost more than the BMW. The prices in Germany start at € 8,500. In the United States, mathematics begins with a more reasonable 7,599 US dollar. But for the time being, Mini’s attitude to the CE 02 is only a unique project.
It is part of the installation of the “living transitions” that focuses on adapting for the Milan Design Week. For the same event, BMW built an X3 M50 in a frozen tanzanite blue, a matt color from the individual catalog. The exhibition runs until April 13th in the Palazzo Borromeo d’Ada, a Palazzo of the 18th century in Milan. Mini also brought a car with him by presenting the Electric Cooper S with special body graphics to supplement the CE 02.
