The BMW M2 is difficult to ignore in Sao Paulo Yellow

One can certainly say that the original F87 BMW M2 was generally praised for its design. The G87? Not so much. However, since his official debut in October 2022, we have noticed a change of perception. Some warmed up to styling and we believe that wider adaptation options have played an important role.

When M2 -Personalization options were expanded, M -boss Frank van Meel said that the car had received a life cycle impulse. This surprised us when you consider that the G87 only got new paint options – one of them can be seen here. Sao Paulo Yellow was accompanied by fire red, skyscraper gray, Portimao Blue, Java Green, Voodoo Blue, Twilight Purple and Grigio Telesto.

To be fair, BMW also introduced new silver wheels and black model writings with a silver outline. Inside, the M2 received a steering wheel with a flat floor, revised climate controls and iDrive 8.5. However, one could argue that these updates were not sufficient to justify the complete LCI status. Nevertheless, this slightly refreshing M2 with its strong color and the steering wheel with Alcantara falls off.

BMW Bulgaria presents a 2025 m2 with M sports seats instead of the carbon fiber front bucket. Standard for the M2 CS, the available front seats have been an individual option since last year. But the real highlight is the striking Sao Paulo-Gelbe Finish, which depending on the light angle from yellow to green. We would have gone with classic silver wheels because we get black or two-tone sets tired with almost every M car.

The Hardcore M2 CS is far less configurable than the standard model, but unlock an individual color that has not yet been available: velvet blue. To sweeten the deal, BMW adds golden bronze wheels and a newly designed trunk lid with an integrated duck tail spoiler. Other individual colors are on the go because we have learned that BMW accelerates the integration of special colors into the San Luis Potosí plant in Mexico, where all M2S are built.
