The new BMW IX XDrive60 shows its illuminated grille

The IX is considered an ugly duckling of BMW’s constantly growing SUV structure. We really believe that some people now, when the life cycle impulse is officially out, will have a change in the heart. The recently launched on the market does not bring the drastic changes that we saw on the revised X7. There are no unusual split headlights here, but the lights are everything new and look modern.

New images show the IX XDRIVE60, a replacement for the old XDRIVE50 that was sold during the previous year of the model. Since the photos come directly from BMW, it is no surprise that we are dealing with a high-end building. The most striking upgrades are outside, where the body carries the M Sportpacket Pro and a matt individual color. The frozen pure gray metallic finish and the sportier body are new on the IX.

Speaking of options The Pre-LCI model did not have, the IX XDRIVE60 shown here has an impressive 23-inch wheels. We are generally against oversized alloys, but so large wheels are aesthetically useful when the vehicle is so large. However, they sacrifice part of the driving comfort and the efficiency, not to mention that you have to pay extra. The aerodynamically optimized “1028” incial set costs a steep 2,200 € in Germany, where this moon acid gives the final invoice € 3,750.

The IX was one of the last BMWs without illuminated radiator grille option. BMW does things right by presenting the pompos as an iconic glow option. Since this IX XDrive60 has the M Sport-Paket-Pro and not the non-Pro version, the Jumbo kidney are darker here. Both packages borrow the front and rear bumpers from the M70 flagship.

If you jump in, there is a lot to speak. BMW built this IX XDRIVE60 with M Sport Black/Atlas Gray -artificial leather. Take a closer look and you will find that the German luxury brand sneaked in an M logo on the passenger side of the dashboard. BMW planted its largest SUV zero emission SUV with a panoramic roof roof and the new multifunctional seats of M multi-multiformities. It even has soft doors and the automatic air conditioning of four zones.

This IX XDRIVE60 has all fortifications, from adaptive two-axis air suspension to the steering of the rear wheel. The interior still looks as modern as four years ago when the vehicle debuted, and the LCI builds on an established recipe. In addition to the additional adjustments, the new seats are the actual upgrade. BMW therefore spoke to one of the main complaints that people had about the old model. The hardware improvements brought by the mid-cycle facelifting are of course the most important advantage over the old IX.
