BMW Singapore recently annoyed us with a one-time 7 series, and now it is ready to show the Special G70. Based on the full electrical i7 in the rear -wheel drive, one -engine form, this EDRIVE50 has an individual paint. Madeira Red Metallic borrowed from Rolls-Royces color palette and bears the internal code name “R20”. It has been available from BMWS for a while, but we have rarely applied it to a real car.
BMW built the Singapore icons as a unique i7 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Singapore. In addition, it has also marked 40 years since BMW Asia was founded in the region. Apparently it took 18 months to plan and build the car for Choo Wai Luen, the owner of Kwong Cheong Thye Pte. Ltd, a Singapore Food-Manufacturing Company founded in 1892. This luxobarge has more than its special color, which, by the way, contains “opulent tones of rich red Madeira wine and dark cherry black colors”.
Take a closer look and you will notice a laser laser laser in Singapore, which has entered the Hofmeister Knick. Similar to the body color, the 21-inch wheels come from the individual catalog. The two-tone alloys (Codenamed 1055) have a striking 20-spoke design and a diamond cut finish.

Inside, the owner decided on Merino leather padding in smoke white, whereby “Singapore Icons” in Alaska Gray was sewn into all four headrests. What really distinguishes the cabin from any other G70 -7 series is what is located on the Eichengrau -Metallic cladding of the dashboard and is completed with a clear paint coat. There is a metallic inlay with 25.7 centimeters, which was made from a single, laser -cut piece of metal.
Accordingly, the inlay is a tribute to the island station, which shows seven of the most famous landmarks Singapore. From left to right, the graphics show the Changi Control Tower, Gardens by the Bay Supertree Grove, Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands, Anderson Bridge, Merlion Statue and The Artscience Museum. The sights flank the logos “Singapore Icons” and “SG60 1 of 1”.
BMW does not announce prices, but a fortune must have cost. A regular i7 edRive 50 m sport costs $ 668,888 in Singapore (520,400 US dollars) due to strong local taxes. In view of the unique status and the exclusive functions of this car, the buyer probably paid a significant premium.
