Electrify America will present tailor-made charging options for a fleet of 60 electrical vehicles, together with Class 8 Volvo and Kenworth vehicles, operated by 4 Gen Logistics. The 30 new chargers will supply energy ranges from 150 to 350 kW. A behind-the-meter BESS will retailer vitality when electrical energy prices are low, and discharge vitality throughout peak utilization instances, minimizing affect on {the electrical} grid and mitigating demand surges.

EA and 4 Gen are additionally engaged on the same facility to serve drayage vehicles, with 14 fleet chargers and a BESS, in Rialto, California.  The Rialto charging station is predicted to open subsequent 12 months.
