JLR was discovered to test a prototype for an electric vehicle that will take a place in its entry Range Rover family From luxury -suvs.
It is known that JLR is planning to unveiled an electrical version of its legendary Range Rover shortly, although this is not the vehicle that can be seen here. The Electric Range Rover corresponds to the design of its gas -powered sibling, apart from a few changes in front, to improve aerodynamic efficiency. The same applies to an upcoming Range Rover Sport.
The vehicle seen here is much deeper and slimmer When the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport indicates, which indicates that it is the successor to the current Range Rover Velar. The Velar has been available since the 2018 model year and will soon be replaced.
According to our photographer, the prototype looked longer than the current Velar. It also looks lower and wider.

JLR said last year it is new EMA platform (Electrified Modular Architecture) The development for smaller SUVs would produce its first model in 2025 and the model would be a member of the Range Rover family. It is probably the vehicle that is being tested here.
The EMA platform is also used for versions of the next generation of the Range Rover Evoque and the related discovery sport.
JLR also has that MLA platform for larger SUVs. The MLA made her debut in the latest Range Rover and also underpins the latest Range Rover Sport.
In view of the expected debut of 2025 for the new SUV, arrival in the USA is probably a 2026 model. Other new JLR vehicles in the work are the first of Jaguar’s new Ultra-Luxury area and a defender rally ray vehicle.
