Ford Megazilla, Donkervoort F22: headlines in the car news

Ford has a new version of its 7.3 liter V8 monster known to fans as Godzilla. Nicknamed the Megazilla, the new version offers even more power and torque. The Megazilla is slated to join the Godzilla in Ford’s crate engine portfolio next year.

The Dutch performance brand Donkervoort is on the road with a new sports car called the F22. Serving as the successor to Donkervoort’s D8 series of race cars, it brings with it a new chassis, new carbon fiber manufacturing technology and the promise of up to 2.15g of lateral acceleration.

Buick’s Encore GX is due for an update and we have photos of an unfaired prototype. The update will see the subcompact crossover adopt a new look anticipated by Buick’s Wildcat EV and Electra-X concept vehicles shown earlier in the year.
