BMW’s latest CS-Baded creation is here and the most extreme version of the G87 M2. This light, persecution-oriented coupé is known as 2026 BMW M2 CS and builds on the standard M2 formula with significantly more power, revised suspension and aggressive new styling, which reflects its sharper purpose.
As confirmed by Evo, the 3.0-liter twin turbo 3,0-liter straight under the bonnet is now pressing 526 hp and £ 479 FT torque, which corresponds to the mighty M3-CS. This is more than the standard M2, thanks to the improved Boost printing and the engine tuning. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic gear-there is no manual option and the car starts in just 3.4 seconds from 0 to 62 miles per hour. Top speed? 180 km / h, with the optional M driver package.
But the M2 CS is not just about raw numbers. BMW has also focused strongly on improving the chassis. The CS has revised adaptive dampers, stiffer springs and tailor -made coordination for its electronic differential with limitation sled. BMW claims that it has spent a lot of time to improve the behavior of the car at the Nürburgring, and early impressions indicate that it is far more agile and composer than the standard car.
On the outside, the M2 CS receives a carbon fiber bus with a functional inlet shovel, a new front splitter, a carbon roof and a larger rear spoiler in duck tail style. It drives on forged 19-inch and 20-inch rear wheels that are defeated in the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber. Carbon ceramic brakes are optional.
BMW has concentrated things inside. M Carbon bucket seats are standard, and the cabin is cut in Alcantara with contrast seams and CS branding. The weight savings are also saved from the removal of some sound insulation and the use of light materials.
BMW has not confirmed the exact production numbers, but reports that the M2-CS will be a limited model like its predecessor. The prices in Great Britain start at £ 87,045 and set it exactly with serious sports car candidates. With a sharper edge and a serious performance, the 2026 m2 CS is becoming another future classic for the M division. Whether on a day of the route or a mountain passport, it promises an exciting memory of what BMW can do best.
