Business EV innovator Proterra (NASDAQ: PTRA) will present its battery expertise to El Dorado Nationwide (ENC), a subsidiary of the REV Group, to energy ENC’s second-generation electrical transit buses.
Beneath a brand new, multi-year provide settlement, Proterra will provide its S-Sequence battery system to energy ENC’s Axess Battery Electrical Bus (EVO-BE), which will probably be produced in 32-foot, 35-foot and 40-foot variants. Supply of the primary Proterra Powered ENC Axess EVO-BEs is predicted to start in 2023.
Proterra says its battery programs have logged over 30 million service miles, powering electrical supply automobiles, work vans, semi-trucks, building and mining tools, college and coach buses, and low-floor cutaway shuttles.
